Executive Director's Letter

Dear Coach,

We hope you are having a great Summer and taking this time to use the Internet to seek out new coaching information, or signing up for any teaching or coaching workshops in your area.

We have noticed that most coaches take a break from reading "High School Tennis Coach" during the summer, as well, but each issue is archived and you'll have access to all of our articles whenever you need them.

We are planning on making some key changes to the association next year to encourage more high school coaches to get this important information so they can better assist their young players.

To this end, we will either eliminate or greatly reduce dues ($5 per membership) to increase our numbers, and thereby, stature in the tennis industry.

With this reduction in cost will come a reduction in benefits, including the free video or book with a membership and possibly our liability insurance (currently, you are covered for the remainder of your one-year membership).

Please feel free to contact me directly with any other ideas you have for the association, including how to attract more of your fellow coaches.

Again, I hope you're using your free time to brush up on your coaching and enjoying some matches of you own.
